What are your daycare, boarding, and grooming prices?
Daycare $29, Half Day $19 (five hours or less), Overnight Boarding $45, Baths $20 (little and cute) to $70 (big and hairy).
What should I bring when boarding my dog?
Food in a single container (no need to portion by meal periods), bedding (no need to wash before), one toy, Meds or calming supplements.
What is the temperament test?
The temperament test is to look for aggression or extreme nervousness. The first test takes a few minutes, if they pass they go on probation for a second visit of a half day or possibly more.
Are dogs put into groups?
No. Dogs are pack animals, in a pack there are different sizes, personalities and ages. We feel for proper socialization it is important for the dogs to learn to be comfortable with the many different types of dogs.
Does Texas Doggie Daycare provide private suits?
No. A suite to you is luxury but a suite to a dog is solitary confinement. Your pup will sleep in the same area they have been in all day with the same friends they have been with all day but in their own private kennel. This way they can see each other, hear each other and smell each other. It is much less stressful and much more comfortable than a suite.
Why do we use mulch?
We use mulch because it is eco-friendly, easy to clean and doesn’t require harsh chemicals to maintain. When it rains it dries in just a few minutes and doesn’t get muddy. In the sun it doesn’t get hot like artificial turf. Unfortunately because it decomposes we have to replace it about every 4 months.
